Privacy Policy
This explains what information Suki keeps, why, who sees it, and your rights under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
Suki is made and operated by VinnHustle. When this policy says “we” or “us,” it means VinnHustle. Each shop is responsible for how it uses its buyers’ information to fill their orders.
1. What we keep
From buyers
- Name, mobile number, address, the location you pin on the map for delivery or meetup, and notes.
- What you ordered, how you pay, and payment receipt screenshots.
- For Senior Citizen or PWD discounts: the name and number on the ID, and a photo of the ID.
- If you leave a review: your stars, comment and optional photo. It’s shown publicly (with your first name only) only if you allow sharing and the shop chooses to feature it. Shops may also post it on their social media if you allowed sharing.
From sellers and their staff
- Email, name, and password (kept scrambled; we can’t read it).
- Shop details: menu, photos, prices, payment details (like GCash number), delivery areas, and plan payments.
- Who did each step on an order (for the shop’s records).
From riders (only if the seller sends a live location link)
- The rider’s location while the order is out for delivery, and a proof of delivery photo if they take one.
2. Why we keep it
- To place, prepare, deliver and track orders.
- So sellers can check payments and give receipts and discounts.
- To run accounts, the Pro plan, and keep Suki safe.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for ads.
3. Who sees it
- The shop you order from (the owner and their staff) sees your order details so they can fill it. Each shop handles its buyers’ information and must keep it private.
- Other shops can’t see your orders.
- Your tracking page can be opened by anyone with its link, so share it only with people you trust. It doesn’t show your address or number.
- Suki’s team may see data only to run and fix the service, or when the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it
- Senior/PWD ID photos: deleted 30 days after the order is finished or cancelled. The name and ID number stay on the order for the seller’s records.
- Rider location: erased when the order is delivered.
- Proof of delivery photo: taken by the rider when they arrive, seen by the shop, its staff and you, and deleted 30 days after the order is finished.
- Your delivery pin: seen by the shop, its staff and the rider while your order is active, and hidden from your tracking page once it’s delivered.
- Orders and receipts: kept while the shop uses Suki, because sellers need them for their records.
- You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see “Your rights”), unless the law requires us or the seller to keep it.
5. On your phone or computer
Suki saves a few small things in your browser to make it easier to use: your light or dark choice, your details for faster ordering next time, and links to track your orders. You can clear these anytime from your browser settings, or tap “Clear them” on the order page.
6. Services we use
- Supabase stores our data and photos.
- Netlify hosts the website.
- OpenStreetMap shows maps when pins are used.
- Google Fonts and public code libraries load parts of the pages.
These services may process data on servers outside the Philippines, with safety measures in place.
7. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you can ask to know what we have about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it or stop its use, and you can complain. To do any of these, message us (see below). For details about a specific order, you can also contact the shop. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
8. Keeping it safe
We use secure connections, private storage for receipts and IDs, and rules so each shop only sees its own orders. No system is perfect, so please keep your password private. If something goes wrong with your data, we’ll tell the people affected and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.
9. Contact and changes
